Toshiba hdd

As far as I know it is not possible to remove a password from a hard disk. In some cases a manufacturer may be able to help, however, for security reasons I'm not sure they would.

Don't be panic. you can try some data recovery software. You can seehttp://www.asoftech.com/adr/It tells the steps how to perform data recovery. If above does not work, you may have to format the hard drive (use quick format), and then use above mentioned software to scan again the hard drive and recover your files.

Hard drive has power but will not spin up

One bad lead can cause a computer to continue on a cycle or to shutdown or fail to detect your hard drive boot up

test all leads that attach frrom motherboard to your hard drive including electrical extensions SATA

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure dust free connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty ?

even something as small as an electrical extension or a faulty fan lead can cause this problem follow the troubleshooting procedure a computer needs all of the data and electrical current to travel through every working device and to have an end for a computer to be able work properly

motherboard and a hard drive any leads between them will fail before your motherboard or your hard drive check all electrical extensions make sure they are securely seated even the cd/dvd drives need to have current go through make sure these devices are working hope this helps you

Hi my toshiba mk3265gsx hard

With a brand new drive, you have to initiate your drive using the Disk Management tool in Windows.
To do this, go to Start-->Control Panel --> Administrative Tools --> Computer Management. Then select Disk Management from the menu on the left. Once everything is loaded up, you should see your new drive in the list of volumes on your computer. You'll have to right click on it and click Initialize Disk. Once you've initialized it, you'll have to formate the drive and create partitions.
If you need anymore help, let me know.
