First of all, if it is less than a year old do not tinker with it but return it to the supplier for service under the manufacturer's warranty.
If it is more than a year old but only just , contact them anyway
If the drive has stopped reading then try using a lens cleaner to clear the reading lens.
If the drive is cead then replace it.
Replacing a drive is not very difficult as long as you have some technical ability
