Samsung DVD-V3650 DVD Player / VCR Combo no sound when connected via component cable

Component connections between your DVD player and TV (they will be colored red, blue, and green) carry video only. You will need to connect two more cables for left and right audio channels. The connectors for these audio cables will be colored white and red for left and white respectively.

Samsung DVD-V3650 Combo Player ejects most videotapes without playing them

You can only compensate for minor scratches. As for the vcr side the rollers could be dirty or the brake worn out. The tensioner may be too sensitive as well. Basically the mechanism probably needs servicing.

After I put a fuse in the player, and plug into

Hi,
Your fuse blown again because you have a short on the circuit. You may visit my link http://www.fixya.com/support/r8053361-fuse_keeps_blowing for more info.
I've suspect that you have short on rectifier diode/main filter capacitor/regulator IC/transistor. This is quite fixable.
Hope it may help you.
Thanks for using fixya.

Samsung DVD-V3650 - Remote operation (on/off,

The issue maybe the board in the players. Wipe the front to make sure the IR sensor isn't being blocked by a smudge, and if it still is intermittent you can try replacing the remote from the manufacturer. If both don't work the unit will need to be replaced if the intermittent working on/off is too much to bear :)

Split screen on DVD player

This sounds like a progressive scan issue (unit in P.Scan Mode) here is a C&P from the manual

Set "Alt Video Out"
Highlight "Alt Video Out", then press the RIGHT button to select
one of the following options:
• S-Video - Select this if you are using the S-Video OUT jack on
the rear panel to connect to a TV.
• Component - Select this if you are using the COMPONENT
VIDEO OUT jacks on the rear panel to connect to a
Progressive(480p) or Interlaced (480i) TV.
• See your TV owner's manual to determine what type of TV you
have.
- Interlace : Interlaced Scan mode will work.
- Progressive : Progressive Scan mode will work, and Video
and S-Video will not work.
• Press the Progressive button on the front panel if you have a
Progressive scan TV only. Otherwise, the picture will be
disturbed.

Brand new DVDs will not play in Samsung Progressive Scan v3650

If you're trying to play through to your TV through the RF out on your combo unit, it's probably the copy protection that's stopping the playback. Try through the composite/audio jacks.

Why is my Samsung plasma tv screen becoming dark suddenly meanwhile it's on and still functioning

Hello. You can check HDMI cable in this case. If you're using an HDMI port that's not working well or has been damaged, it could result in a darker-than-usual screen. If you switch the cable or change devices and the TV is at a regular brightness, this is the case.

Samsung 55 TV White vertical patches?

It sounds like you might be dealing with backlight bleeding or an issue with the LED backlighting in your TV. This can sometimes occur over time due to normal wear and tear or manufacturing defects. If it started as a faint single brighter section and has now expanded to four, it's likely a hardware issue. While it may not be an easy fix, contacting the manufacturer's customer support or a professional technician would be a good next step to diagnose and possibly repair the problem. If you'd like, you can share the pictures for a more accurate assessment.
