Hello, it seems that they is an electronic component has gone bad or even the image intensifier tube.Night Owl Optic in El Paso, TX. won't fix because they done have the parts to do. These night vision devises are manufactured in Russia and a lot of US companies sell them under the brand name. It like this: you buy it, it stop working, you throw it away. If you haven't thrown it away, auction it on eBay for $10 to $15 plus shipping. Best of Luck. GB...stewbison

Hello, at night! Please don't use your Nigh Owl Optics to look at light, bright lights, street lights, just use it in the DARK!!!. If it to dark to see throught your Night Owl NV turn on the IR illuminator. Then you can see in those dark rooms, and sneak up on your friends. GB...stewbison

Hello, it seems another Russian manufactured night vision monocular has died. Sorry to say, but the image intensifier tube is bad. I really doubt that Night Owl Optics in El Paso, Texas will fix it for you. Because of it age of 5+ years old. Hint: auction it on eBay as night vision monocular parts. Sorry. I would fix it for you but the last one I fixed, it took me two months to find image intensifier tube and it was used. I wish you all the luck. GB...stewbison

Hello, this Night Owl monocular will have two light (LED's), one green for on/off, and other red LED for IR illuminator. So, does the green light come on? Also, if still does work, then send it to me. I some parts to fix other NV devise and 95% of them are manufactured in Russia including yours.

Hello, sorry that you moncular will not turn on. It seems that these Russian manufactured monocular, binoculars, scopes have really cheap intensifier tube in them. They just wake up then die. It's cost prohibitive to have it repaired because Night Owl will not sell parts for NV devises to any one. Look on eBay and they are quit of few of this NV monoculars for auction and also for parts. The image intensifier tube is 90% of the cost of any NV devises. GB...stewbison

vision monocular and other NV devise are the crudely manufactured image
intensifier tubes.. US companies use this Russian night vision stuff with they
name and logo on them. Of course, when one buys one of this NV devises, it not

DO NOT LOOK THROUGH NV
MONOCULAR DURING THE DAY, OR LOOK AT BRIGHT LIGHTS. This
will destroy the image intensifier tube. Bright lights will make it go south
faster than Speedy Roadrunner. I need parts if the image tube is gone. Night Owl
