Hello, These Russian manufactured night vision devises are cheap. The image intensifier tube has gone south, it finny, flip out, dead. Because these night vision defisve are sold by many different US companies they don't have parts for them. You buy it, and when goes, you throw it away. Sent to me for recycling, there really not much to recycle. Sorry, GB...stewbison

Hello, Welcome to the world of Russian night vision system. That is right, Night Owl Optics Cyclops NOCC3 is manufactured in Russian. The biggest problem with these monocular and binoculars and even scope is that they use cheap 1st generation Russian image tubes and everything else. It would be cost prohibitive to have it fixed, that is, if Night Owl Optics will fix it for you. Hint: Auction it on Ebay as night vision parts. Sorry, GB...stewbison

Hello, welcome to the world of Russian night vision devises. About 85% of the problems these NV stuff that is manufactures in the EX-Soviet-Union is the image intensifier tube which is the major component in these devises. It cost prohibitive to have it fixed, especially by Night Owl. They will charge you $100+ plus shipping both ways and parts. Sell it on eBay for NV monocular as parts.
or you can throw it a way. Sorry, GB...stewbison

Hello, This is a typical problem with these Russian manufactured NV monocular. Without disassembling the unit and doing some basic trouble shooting on the circuits. NV monocular I have work on. The problem seems to be 1st generation image tube goes south in one fast stroke.

If you can find someone to work on this NV monocular. Only thing need is know that the cathode of the image intensifier tube operates at 15KV switch dc which are 90 degrees out of phase. In other words, it just AC voltage. The tube will have operating current at 12ma to 10ma.

Also, I can't use this forum for drumming up bussiness. I am retired and my experience go back to 1965 work on PVS2 and others. stewbison
