There is a chrome thumbscrew on the back side of the blade housing. Turn the thumbscrew counter-clockwise and pull it out of the housing to remove the blade for cleaning. Expect some resistance to turning from the thumbscrew!

Hi, The rice goes in with the water... do not use the basket for rice... just veggies... If the rice is crunchy then you need more water....

Personally, I would go to your local Goodwill or Salvation Army store.
Larger stores will have more cords. Every one I have ever been in has a shelf,
box, or wall with just cords, and most fryer cords are very common..
They are usually near the electronic items. If they are not displayed, ask.

As a last resort, you could also google the manufacturer, and visit their website.

It's where I go to find them, and I am rarely disappointed.
