Help to unlock Radio Shack Pro-70 Scanner
To unlock your Radio Shack Pro-70 Scanner, you can try the following steps:
- Turn off the scanner by pressing and holding the "Power" button until the scanner turns off.
- Press and hold the "Func" button while turning on the scanner again. Keep holding the "Func" button until the scanner finishes its power-up routine and the display shows "Program."
- Use the number buttons to enter the four-digit unlock code. If you don't know the unlock code, try entering "0000," which is the default code for many Radio Shack scanners.
- Press "E" to confirm the code. If the code was entered correctly, the scanner should now be unlocked and you should be able to access all functions.
If the above steps do not work, try resetting the scanner to its factory defaults. To do this, turn off the scanner, then press and hold the "2," "9," and "MAN" buttons while turning on the scanner again. Keep holding the buttons until the scanner displays "Factory Test." Press the "Func" button to confirm the reset.
If none of these steps work, it's possible that there is a hardware issue with the scanner and it may need to be serviced or replaced.
Radio Shack Pro-84 reception issues
Hi,
Please double check that the device isn't close to any antenna's or microwaves when you're using it. Also, you don't want to operate close to any radios or walkie talkies as their frequencies could cause interference. Thank you.
POR 651. How can I get rid of heap error?
Usually you can edit the scan list, if not you can reset the whole scanner by turning the off radio, turn it back on & hit 0-1-enter & 0-2-enter, this will put it back to manufactory default, then start over again.
Radio shack Multivoltmeter 22-820 read out is OF and I do not know how to interpret it.
I don't know, maybe it is faulty or maybe it is telling you what you are trying to measure can't be measured on that range. I suggest you learn more by measuring a few known values to see what happens...
I have a Radio Shack multimeter and it was a complete waste of space from day 1 and no better after it had been "repaired" by the Tandy boffins. The readings vary wildly between summer and winter, often only half the display works and sometimes it doesn't work at all until it has been switched on for a while.
