My Kenmore gas range trip the GFI plug when I hit the bake button..

hello Joe, the first thing I think of, is that there is a short-cut with the ground wire. These short-cuts can be caused by several things. for example humidity, but also a burned insulation. You have to check that. ALWAYS BE CAREFULLY WITH ELECTRIC AND UNPLUG THE COOKER BEFORE OPENING IT. I hope this helps, Dik

Does the radiant heating element cycle on and off?

  • The surface cooking area may glow red when a heating element is ON.
  • Some parts of the surface cooking area may not glow red when a heating element is ON.
  • The warming zone element (on certain models) will not glow red.
  • Radiant elements have a limiter that allows the element to cycle ON and OFF, even at the HI setting, to prevent damage to the ceramic cooktop. This is normal operation.
  • The radiant heating element retains enough heat when off to provide a uniform and consistent heat. The surface will still be hot even though the element has cycled OFF.

Problem with Kenmore 970-334780 Gas Kitchen Range / propane gas /to natural gas

hello Lorraine, Most gascookers heve the possibility to change from LPG to natural gas. You need to change the injectors. The holes in the injectors for LPG are smaller that the ones for natural gas. Hello Sara, I think you have a gasoven too? in that case I think it is the flame safety device. when that is gone, the burner goes on very low, although it looks like all went well. F11= problem communicating with display Suggest you unplug unit, peel off front of display and clean this and contacts thoroughly. Replace - all should be good.

I had a power outage and now my kenmore ultra bake glass top stove, has no power to oven.only when i hold cancel button for few secs"F2EO" shows up on screen. 4 burners still work,along wif oven light

The error code E0-F2 indicates that your touchpad has a stuck key. You might try disconnecting the electricity from the range and pushing and releasing the buttons on the touchpad several times. Be aware as you push them of any button that feels different. If you notice one that is stiffer or just doesn't feel like the others, give it several more pushes. Worst case scenario, you will need to replace the touchpad.
