Are they the correct spark plugs??? Check that the reach is correct, also check that the heat range is correct. If it is not mechanical damage from piston interference it sound like you may be having an engine knock (detonation) problem. Are you using high octane fuel rather than the cheaper regular fuel?? Hopefully also you have not tuned the carbs too lean which could also lead to a knock condition. Similarly with timing too far advanced.
A person really needs to know how you are using the bike when this happens also.
White smoke normally = oil. I would remove all the spark plugs one at a time and look at the colour. My guess is that at least one will be oily or there was a load of oil in the exhaust before the overhaul and you will need to burn the exhaust out. Please get back to me with the results.

carbs blocked i would say check for spark at plugs with old plug hold againist engin hold by rubber plug lead if good srark remove one plug see is it wet with petrol if so carbs fine remove all plugs and leave dry when dry run starter no plugs then replace plugs and try then
