You should find a key hole on the right side of your bike, below the seat. It isn't obvious, so look for it. Put your ignition key in and turn. The seat will be released.

There are two of them. One for each carb. The rear one is just in front of ht battery box under the seat. It can be removed by removingn the 4 screws under the right side cover. The front one is under the tank. you must remove the tank then remove the air box from the frame it's the black box near the handle bars. once the air box is removed the filter comes out the same as the rear one.
The battery for the Marauder is located under the seat. Check behind the passenger peg on the right side (the side the exhaust pipes are on) , there should be a lock. Use the bikes key to unlock the seat. You should be able to lift the seat from the back and pull it backwards as you lift it. You should see your battery. Hope this helps.
