There no fire on sparks plug's ford bantam 1.3 rocam

no year car told. (will Assume starter cranks fast)
NO SPARK (fire only happens with fuel) fueling is last.

when did it last run this car, last week, month, year, ? or never
as in fixing dead car for friend ,etc? for found a dead car?

spark that is called, the High voltage HV ) spark coil makes spark happen on all gas engines. and evolved radically from 1990 to now.
so your not telling cars year, country, makes answer frankly impossible
Generic answer next. (4cyl. 1.3L)

  • fuses blown. (we check them all, )
  • icm bad, or bad distributor. or installed wrong.
  • 2 coil packs,? 1,3,4,2 fired, and wired backwards (OOPS)
  • COPS bad. (coil over plugs x4)
  • CKP bad
  • CMP bad
  • cam belt slipped making CMP and CKP LIE and ECU ignores them. or fires sparks in WRONG TIME.(varies by year made)
  • wires bad to all that. or connector, there.
  • key switch bad (ing pin)
  • bad spark coil HV,or HV wires sets bad. to distrib or to coil packs.
  • always test all spark plugs not just one., or bark up the wrong tree easy.
if 2 coil packs the HV lugs most not connected wrong,
or spark firing order is lost.
if 2coil packs, 1 spark plug or 1 HV wire fails 1 spark plugs die
and 4cyl with only 2 sparks good cannot RUN.
1,3,4,2 is order.

1983 to 2011 years wiki says

The Ford Bantam is a coup? utility/pickup (known in South African English as a 'Bakkie') produced in South Africa. Production of the Bantam spanned three generations, with the vehicle produced in South Africa for sale within the South African market.

Brazilian-designed Rocam engine is of single overhead-cam configuration with two valves per cylinder.

Zetec Rocam (Duratec 8v) was cam chain driven, but I'm not sure, none sold here.USA

I have a ford bantam 1.3 rocam i replaced the clutch and im not getting spark or fuel coming through! I replaced the crank sensor and had the ecu tested and still nothing it just cranks over!

First is check fuses, replace them and then recheck. Next would be to make sure you didn't pinch an electrical line/harness. Next check grounds. Next get the codes. After this would be checking continuity of wires.

Hi im cobus my 1300ford bantam rocam motor cranks up but does not want to start there is no spark so i already changed the coil pack

If it's got a crank sensor I'd be starting there as if the crank sensor not working then no spark. Test the wires etc

My car has power goin to the coil but not to the distributor. Why?

Im not sure what engine you have or what ignition system is in it but the coil has power and the other wire is ground, the dist is what produces the ground as it spins in order to make the coil spark, the dist grounds and releases ground very fast. if your dist has a control module on it or on the fender well then the module should have power to it. if your problem is a no spark one then have the control module tested and also make sure the cam is spining and the timing belt didnt pop if this is a 4cylinder, no matter what motor have the module tested and try another coil if module tests good.

I have a 1987 ford bronco and will not start replaced the pick up coil and ignition module and coil and still not getting spark to start now I am stumped can some one please help?

check the wires to the module,im not too sure what color wire to check, its been 5 years since i worked on that issue on a ford truck, but i think its a white wire with a black stripe-basically power from the key-also check the fusible links by the starter solenoid on the inside fender

Car cuts off when it gets hot

I dont know what year and engine you have but sounds like a typical ford ignition module problem. When it will not start, check the spark at one of the plug wires. If there is spark when it is cold but none once warmed up.Replace the module.Your parts house (autozone or advance) can check it for you.But remember it is going to test good when it is cold. They have no way to check it while its hot.If your not sure, have it checked out by a profesional.Good Luck!!!
