2004 vulcan 750 shuts off

Intermittent faults are difficult to locate and occasionally the cause is never found. Often the problem cures itself or somebody cures it by desperate and mindless fiddling but doesn't know how. I tell my customers to persevere and eventually a pattern will emerge - the same corner, the same stretch of road, the same sort of weather, the same speed, the same gear, etc.. Once a pattern is recognised it increases the chances the problem can be repeated predictably or some serious detective work might provide further clues. Fitting temporary telltale lights to monitor supplies and grounds around the circuit can be helpful. I have had two cars where the intermittent fault was inside the ECU. Very difficult to prove and too expensive to replace without justification. On one car I was lucky and had a timing light connected when the fault happened. I watched the timing mark move and keep moving until it was almost out of sight and the engine stopped. It restarted immediately and ran normally until the next time.

How to remove the seat on a Kawasaki 750 Vulcan ?

I believe there are a couple of bolts inside the "toolbox" in the backrest that need to be removed before the seat will come off.

Is synthetic oil recommended for

An engine is an engine, whether a car or a bike engine. Synthetic engine definitely is better for all engines. Better lubrication, longer life, longer time between oil changes thus more savings on servicing charges etc. Go ahead.

Speedometer cable came unpluged

The speedo's are 100% mechanical. If there is no cable conencted to your speedo, you found your problem. The cables are prone to break right where they make the turn to head up to the speedo from the wheel sender. A new cable is about $20 dollars and is easy to replace.
I hope this helps.

I need a free service manual for a 2004 kawasaki

Have you tried to talk to your Kawasaki dealer or go to Haynes website to look for your repair manual. Well mate, in this world nothing is free anymore even the air is getting pretty close to be charged for carbon foot print tax. Good luck

My 750 vulcan will crank but when I give it gas it

I would check the fuel flow and the timing to make sure that your not getting to much fuel and that you are getting spark at the correct time.

Can you describe the value of a baotian 110 cc

The value is probably $100.00. The bike is worthless if you can't get parts. When was the last time you saw a "Baotian" dealership in the USA? Whoever buys it will likely be highly dissatisfied when they find no one will ( or can ) service the bike.

Hi, my vulcan 750 (1995), over heating, how to

dear sharil you havent gave to much info about your heating problem. the most common cause for this prblem would a stuck thermostate,or a bad waterpump. but iwould replace thermostate first. not a big job but just a small warning after replacing thermostate and replacing antifreeze be sure to bleed air from system. a little bleed screw is located near the thermostate housing for this purpose

Black reservoir box behind rear brake pedal on a 2006 vulcan what fluid goes in the reservoir

Hi Todd: Sounds suspiciously like it would be brake fluid. Check to see if it is connected to the rear brake master cylinder. (that's the thing that has a shaft that is connected to the brake pedal) Motorcycles like Grade 4.
