Head gasket leak

If you decide to go to a garage they will charge you a little fortune if you need help with this let me know i have done these engines before few hours of work. Who told you the gasket has gone? some times the head cracks and oil mixes with water. Thanks

u are better off replacing the whole engine bec in my exsperince u will spend around £200 pound fixing that u could pick up a another gilera runner engine for £150-£200 from ebay etc

There's a procedure to recode new keys, so the immobilizer let's you use the new key, if (and only if) you have the master key (red). Have you tried bob wright motorcycles they are based in westernsuper-mare but they are a gilera stockist new and used parts and offer mail order check them out on the web.

this sounds to me like the variator (speed controller) needs either new rollers or it could quite simply be your drive belt has stretched and needs replacing....if you need to know how to do this let me know.

if you're looking at the bike from the rear, the module is on the r/h side of the cyl head under the faring.

check your fuel lines for cracks as well as the carb it's probably dirty

Hi your spark problem wont have anything to do with the alternator?This happened to a motor bike i owned and found that the rectifier regulator needed to be replaced that fixed the problem and the bike has worked fine since.The rrectifier regulator is generally next to the battery and will have a big plug going into it.

When you replace spark plugs, it is highly recommended to replace the plug wires as well, if you have bad spark plug wires you will not get any fire from them, also have your coil pack(s) and ignition module tested.

I'm not trying to be a smarta** but if you have an afterhours locksmith you can call them or if it were me I would figure out how the ignition switch comes out got to Napa or Autozone and see if they can match your switch up with a new oem switch! Best of luck either way will probably run you say 30 dollars or so if you catch a mobile locksmith during business hours he might do it for a little less be prepaired though you might have to show proof that you own the scooter or have permission to have it!

Check air filter and exhaust. Is it possible that someone tampered with the bike?

also maybe sticky drive belt, not acting on the variactors properly.

Sounds like your oil/ fuel mixing valve may need to be replaced. New gaskets for it at least. Hopefullly your engine gaskets are ok, that's the first thing I thought of until I saw it was a 2 stroke.

Check the spark plug or fuel filter, or you might have a little water in the gas use dry gas in your tank

You need to add 280cc in each fork. makes the ride a bit hard but 280cc is the recommended.

Does it drop back down after a few seconds? If so it is normal

Sometimeds it's like this: left is normal beam and right is high beam or similar...
so in that case it might look like it's failing,
otherwise check your fuses, check the wiring, check the lightbulb....
