Did you reset?fill up a tank and reset, and see what happen.

check fuel pump when you try to start fuel pump should run if not check fuse./

yes its possible to have snapped belt but the sensor is on the crank so it will spark ,just take the cover off the front of the timing belt and see if its turning ,if you dont know how to do any of this then please ask a local mechanic to have a look for you before you damage something

The fuel filter is located underneath the car, near the fuel tank. Make sure to remove the fuel pump fuse while the car is running to relieve the fuel pressure before replacing the fuel filter.
