My ac blower motor isnt getting any power to it

You can make sure all the wiring to motor is in good shape and not disconnected....The motor has a relay, fuse ,and a blower motor resistor..This is normally the problem...However make sure the dash control is working...

Where is the 1996 Volvo blower motor resistor located?

It is in the dash board behind the glove compartment and inside the ventilation duct. It is held in by one screw and has a flat plug going into it. To access it, removed the glove compartment housing and the panel beneath the glove box. Then remove the SRS air back plate which has 3 nuts holding it on. The you will be able to see the blower motor and resistor. The dash board comes apart with a torx bit, I forget the size.

My 1995 volvo 850 wont blow any air

Possible blower resistor/control module failure. Usually located near the blower motor itself.

No heat, blower moter not working also, ac and rec lights blinking

The heater and a/c system have several components as the control switch, the relay, the blower resistor and then the blower. First, you will need to test power at the blower when this happens to see if the blower motor is receiving power or not to determine if this is a blower motor issue or a power supply issue to the motor first.

1995 850 blower moter only works for a min. then shuts off, if you re start car same thing?

that is very very vague. please check with a test light if the power is being interrupted after a min. or if blower motor is getting hot, drawing in to much amps and stopping. if getting hot or drawing in too much amps it is internal short. buy new blower motor. if power to motor is being shut off. maybe has a self reseting fuse and is being tripped by short in wire somewhere. good luck

Fan blower motor only works on high position (either heat or ac) and the brearings squeel. Do in need to replave both the motor blower and resistor?

That's what it sounds like to me.

If the blower is making noise than the only thing you can do is replace it.

Blower resistors typically operate by dropping voltage through a set of resistors. The lower the speed the more resistance is needed. High speed requires no resistance and usually bypasses the resistor assembly.

No a/c on my volvo 93 850

Blower motor or engine light won't affect the A/C compressor. Locate the compressor under the hood and with engine running have someone turn the A/C on and off. You should be sble to hear it engage and disengage. If it does not, Ck your fuses, If all is good, I have to recommend anA/C Technician because there are a few other items that could be of issue requiring special equipment. Good Luck- Ned-

1993 volvo 850 heater blower works sometime tell me why?

These models had problems with the blower motor power stage, which is what controls the fan speed, and the blower motors wear out. There a good chance it needs both!
