1992 Ford Tempo can not roll the automatic windows down on the front driver and passenger side. Can you help me troubleshoot? Maybe a list to go down before I take it to the shop. Thank you, Vickie

Check if the window is aligned properly, might be jamming. Also, re-check your installation, maybe something was done incorrectly

Bad switch on passenger side. Could also be switch on drivers door not letting power go to passenger door

check fuse

bad passenger door window switch; replace it

I COULD BE A RELAY. OR PERHAPS A BLOWN FUSE
BUT IT SEE,S MORE LIKE A RELAY

I have a 1990 Mustang with power windows. When i first got the car the windows rolled up and down fine, then the passenger one started going up slower than the driver one. When i needed to fix my power locks i had them change the window motor in the passenger side. Now the passenger window rolls up faster than the driver one. The problem is the window motors.......and about the motors still running: the switches probably need to be replaced as well. I can almost guarantee this will solve your problem:)

replace the switch. They have parts made of plastic pressing on the contacts softing these babies up making them useless in a few years

you are having all kinds of electrical problems which can maybe be solved by replacing either fuses or relays. also your electrical circuits are being interrupted by shorts in the system and could be a problem with your wiring harness.

If The Windows only Do Not Work From Driver Side Master Switch it Is A Bad Switch But If The Passenger Window Does not Work Both Ways From The Passenger Door Switch Im Not Sure

If the passenger front window switch operates up & down correctly the left drivers side switch is bad and needs a replacement switch
