Need a picture of location of sparkplugs of 2002 lancer

the OME sparkplug gap for lancer from factory
is ( 1.016 ) mm
use a tool named filler to adjust it

you have a pluged up egr port behind the throttle body trust me

Upper right side in picture...

you wont and you cant ,doesnt have a choke ,its computer controlled fuel injection

access should be from underneath. it should be a fairly large sized bolt on either side of the trans. quite possibly marked.

We had tacho installation problem with out 98 lancer with no tacho on the panel. we got a aftermarket one but when we had to wiring it up it needed a tacho signle from the ignition coil. The ignition coil is built into the distributor which made it hard. The 2002 is the same distributor setup as the 98 so you can get step by step instructions with diagrams and pictures from my page, you will see an link that says Mitsubishi Tacho installation. website is www.sureyya.biz let me know if you find it useful.

Probably under the splash shield, it's an off-white colored plug, but you can remove the lower radiator hose to drain the coolant as well.
