Starting problem with honda civic

I have a starting problem with my Honda Civic. It turns over but wont turn the engine over. I put in a new battery but that wouldnt help.

    98 honda died on freeway. changed fuel pump. it was definitely bad. now fuel pump working[checked at filter] but car doesnt start. please help.

    When i try to start the car it wont turn the engine over but there is pressure up to the injector bar but no gas getting to the engine.....

    We have change the spark plugs. It started to work however died at every red light. After the motor was off, cause he was at work, after starting it back up it will not start. The manual said something about changing the spark plug cap? does that make sense? or anyone have any idea?

    I DROVE MY 1098 HONDA,ABOUT 35 MILES TO WORK.

    HAD'NT HAD ANY PROBLEMS,SHUT IT OFF AT WORK ,TRIED TO CRANK IT,IT WOULN'T CRANK,JUST TURNOVER.

Hopefully that's the only problem with it usually when they break its very expensive to fix. Very simple fix for 37$ I replaced mine and I'm not no mechanic but I'm pretty good with a wrench. Only thing I don't mess with is electrical. Good luck.

Next things to check are fuel and spark, remove a spark plug and with the wire attached crank the motor, if you see spark in the plug then it's not a spark issue and probably a fuel problem. If there is no spark could be bad plugs or wires, or distrubitor cap. To check fuel remove injector cover and crank motor, if there is no fuel coming out then check fuel filter, fuel pump.

    I've owened two HONDAs that have had starting problems. The fix is really easy - remove the 12V main relay and resolder all the joints. Don't waste your money on replacing fuel pumps. THe 12 v main relay controls the fuel pump when you start your car.

    depends who you go to but beleive it or not if you get a manual from a parts store if your mechanicly in clined and can follow directions you can do the job yourself with proper tools.

All sorts of ideas here. You need an auto electrician with a pro grade scan tool computer to sort that mess out.

You could try a reset again.

Disconnect both battery leads for 10 minutes. Hold positive and negative together for 2 minutes. Connect positive lead. Connect negative lead. Reset security system.

Did you hooks the the spark plug wires right. If these are not in the right order then you will have a misfire. If enough of them are out of place then you wont have enough fire to start the engine.

have you check the ground wire from your negative wire to battery post? check to see the battery is strong. if it doesn't turn over the engine or crank the engine mean no good ground to the cables. if the car ran fine I dont understand why the car wont crank or turn the motor over it just quit. if the battery check out strong 12 V, starter serenoid may be faulty on your starter or it may be hot and will not turn starter over.
