The indicator is for any ELECTRICAL problem with the car .so get the electrical system checked especially the ALTERNATOR.for proper charging .

Im told same fuse controls dash and tail lights just look in owners manual but i have no owners manual can someone please tell me what fuse is for das and tail lights on 2000 saturn sl please

It looks like the parking lamp fuse is in the box in the engine compartment marked PARK and the dash light fuse is in the box on the driver side of the dash marked DIMMER. They are two different circuits.

There is a new light that just appeared on my dashboard, it resembles the high beam light, but its green, and the light coming out of it is in dots, instead of lines, and i dont have an owners manual, any...

that's day time running lights, your high beams are on when ever your ignition is on and headlights are turned off. If you apply the parking brake it turns off the running lights and the light on the dash goes off, if the parking brake is depressed just to the first racket click the lights will be off.

Mil light. or malfuntion light, is there to let you know that there is a problem with your engine or electrical sistem. either a sensor or actuator is having problems, u need a tecnitian to check ur onboard computer to see the trouble codes related to your car and figure out what need to be replaced or fixed, after that the codes can be deleted and go can go on living a happy life...

97 ford ranger dash lights dont come on,tried dimmer swicth nothing. just bought dont know if they just went out or not.dont have owners manual.

It may seem simple but I would check the fuses. There is normally a fuse for all the dash lights. You didnt say if you checked them in your description so I figured I would suggest it. Remember that the dash lights run through the headlight switch so It could be a bad wire or switch as well.
