My key wont unlock my car but it will start it and now the doors are locked and i cant get it in. how do i use that key inside the key to unlock my car?

Will the car start? If you can start the car, that may disarm the system.

Okay, this sounds like theres a problem with the switch inside the door, try this, go to the passenger door and unlock it with the key, note if it has a lock, most newwer cars are only putting locks on drivers door, but if it has one use the key to unlock it and then try to start the car, if theres no lock then try the truck lock, unlock it with the key and try to start the car, if that doesnt work then use the fob to unlock all doors by pushing it two times and then start the car, the problem is the switch inside the door lock, this switch is part of the latch asm, good day.

You might just need to reset it. Roll the drivers window down and close all the doors. Lock all the doors with the key ) turn the key to lock twice, The electric locks should lock all the doors. wail a few minutes and unlock and open the trunk with the key. relock the truck or just close it. unlock the drivers door with the key, twice. all the doors should unlock, get in and start the car. Now this does'nt always work. If it does'nt we'll make the system think it's running. Close and lock all the doors. open the hood and disconnect the battery, one ccable will be fine. wait a few minutes. Reach in though the open window and turn the key all the way on. Don't open the doors, go around and connect the battery hard so it does'nt jump or skip. Reach thought the window and start the car/ once it's running. turn it off remove the key and unlock the door from the inside and open the door ( as if you were inside.) get in and start the car and everything should be back to normal.

I assume that your car has no lock cylinder that you can use to unlock the door with a key. If this is the case, I suggest that you get someone with experience breaking into cars, such as a locksmith, to open the door for you. If you are a AAA member, they will generally do this free of charge (just tell them you locked your keys in the car and make sure the keys are really in there and the doors are locked). Lock then unlock the doors with the power lock button, with all doors closed (key not in ignition). If this doesnt work, try again using the key to lock and unlock from the driver door, with all doors closed.

Sounds like the rod that goes from the lock to the key came off. There is usually a little plastic clip that holds it together and they break and you get what you are experiencing. You have to take the inside panel off of the door to get inside it.

from outside the car make sure all doors a closed completely, make sure hood and trunk are also closed. lock the vehicle with the remote, unlock it and repeat, lock and unlock. if it still wont start, put the key in the driver door lock, lock and unlock the door three times with the key, then try to start.

probably gonna have to take the door panel off. You say it wont unlock or lock with the key? if thats the case its probably broke inside the door.

Apparently the "LOCK" function is working normally because the burglar alarm is being activated when you 'lock' the car. Is this right?
The fact the engine won't start when the burglar alarm is activated is NORMAL If the doors will not UNLOCK front the driver's door manual switch, I believe you have a bad DOOR UNLOCK relay in the control module.
