What color is the old coolant ? Your vehicle came with Dex-Cool an you don't want to mix it with any other type . Can cause major problems , plugging up the heater core , water passages in the engine , radiator etc.... You would need to power flush the cooling system before using someother types . The Dex-cool is orange .
it is not normal for that engine to use that much oil. i know of another grand prix like yours that lost the engine and the dealer had to replace it. something is wrong with that engine. maybe talk to another gm dealer. good luck
It is behind and underneath the glove box back by the firewall. No need to pull out the glovebox.You may need to pull the carpet back to get to one of the bolts.

To reset the
Change Oil light, open the driver’s side instrument fuse panel cover
and turn ignition on engine OFF. Press the RESET button and release.
The change oil indicator light will flash. Press the button again
and the system will be reset.
do you still have the engine you took out (hope so)
check very closely and see if there is any differance
the bonnevile's have a way different engine mount then the GP
you have put that stud into an oil gallery
check the old engine and see if that hole is blind
