1998 Camaro Z28 brake light switch

How do I replace a brake switch on a 1998 camaro z28? I've deduced it's up under the dashboard along the run of the brake pedal itself. I'm pretty agile, and still cannot see up under there properly to remove it.

Is this just pretty much ''sight by feel?''

Any help will, naturally be appreciated.

You are in the ball park. Go to the Parts store and have them pull the part for you, then you will know exactly what you are looking for.

All wires are marked in small letters, so first make sure everything is hooked up right. Next check grounds and that correct bulbs are in taillamps. Dash lights could be bad light switch.

1994 camaro z28 electrical system dead

A couple of things can be the cause. You could have an issue with your battery connection, or your ignition switch is dead. Ignition switch issues tend to kill all the power to the car. They can go without warning. It's located on the driver's side on the steering column.
