I've read that these symptoms can be caused by a bad crank position sensor. It is right by the oil filter housing. Maybe it was damaged during the oil change.
I guess you need to find out why the service engine light is on and start there. That is why they come on to let you know that there is a problem that requires immediate attention.
I had an issue like that change fuel pump , fuel filter , checked grounds after all the headache i found a problem in the ECU it had one broken wire which i soldered back in place and the car was good as new
