Re: How do I replace the driver's side door handle on a...
Interior or exterior handle? Remove the door panel first. They make a special tool for removing the window crank, but usually you can get it off with a screwdriver. There is a little clip under the crank that needs to be removed first. Then remove the door handle itself, this has a screw in it. Then pull the panel off. With the window in the fully down position or the up position you should be able to get to the handle itself for the exterior. If it's an interior handle just remove that without taking the door handle off. This is all pretty self explanatory once you see it.

Would seem your into the inner doors & have a partial
grasp on things
Now you fix all door windows one shot
#1 Test all switches, ohm meter unplugged or volt meter with power
#2 Test all motors with battery voltage direct -- DC motor will run either direction-- can't hook up wrong
#3 Window Regulators -you know about them (Unless they are broken-you said they are tight)
#4 Do you have good ground side wiring & battery voltage at all
switches & motors
#5 Last resort--unhook the cables & work on freeing up the
glass & window guides etc then you will have found out if the
regulators are the issue
I'm going to guess that your power window motor has about given up the ghost. You may take it in to a mechanic's shop and ask them where the regulator is, however. I just doubt it will be an easy to find piece.
I just installed an Interstate Battery Group 3 from Costco on my Chevy Tracker 2.0L 4 cyl. 4WD. It fits like a gloove, has 640CCA instead of 625CCA. Cost was U$74.90 + tax + U$15.00 core charge ( which they'll reimburse once you bring the old battery back.) 42 months warranty you can't beat it. It also had a very practical handle to drop the battery in. The only thing, the battery terminal are reversed, so you have to install the battery 180° to still have the positive (+) side on the right hand side, but it worked like a charm
lock rods inside the door need to be attached and with exterior door handle broken, it will need to be replaced first. so the assembly will be complete
