Big job. If you are doing it yourself it is worth the $25 to get a repair manual for your car at you local parts store. I did my 95 Marquis and it starts by dropping the steering column and removing the dash in order to gain access to the core. Mine was a $77 part with $450 in labor just to get to it and put everything back together.
The dash has to be removed to gain access to the heater box, a factory repair manual is a 100% must have for this job. The heater box then comes out and is split open to replace the core.
this is not a job for anyone except a experienced mechanic, about 10 hour job, a factory service manual is a must, u can buy a factory manual here.
