Try replacing relay for wiper with another same relay from fuse block from another working accessory.Had same issue on friends Ford Ranger. Moved relays and cleaned harness connection at fuse block. Works fine.

The wiper arms have a push in tab at the very bottom at the fitting that is pressed into the wiper linkage below the screen. Use a flat headed screwdriver to pry out the tab. Once out the arm can be pulled right off. Now you can remove the cowling screen

Pull up on the wiper arm, you will see a tiny little blade on the side of the wiper arm where it goes over the post, take a little screwdriver and pry that out board, this will release the arm from the post, it will be tight, wiggle the arm and pull straight out away from the post.

look closely/carefully for recessed screws. Most are usually pop on/ pop off types. Pull/ pry gently.

sounds like a loose nut. there are nuts that hold the wiper arms on, they may be under a cover but theyre at the base of the wiper arm. also there's a nut that holds the wiper linkage onto the wiper motor. if you can move the wipers independently, it's the nuts connecting the wiper arms.if you move one arm and the other moves with it, it's the nut holding the linkage to the motor.

Julie,
It took awhile, but I finally figured out that in order to remove the wiper motor you first need to disconnect the "arms" connecting the motor to the wipers. You do this by removing the clip that keeps the arms from coming off the end of the motor. You may need to remove the cowling in order to get to the connecting arms. The clip is a "spring clip", you will need a flat head screw driver to lift it up and then it will slide off the end of the shaft.
