Assuming the battery is good. if none of the dash light come on while the key is in the ignition and it turn to on position, check fuse and relay and ignition systems. see if you can play with with ignition systems by jiggle and wiggle turning the key back and forth start the engine and see if you get any contact. all dash light has to come on when the key is turn to on position, if not you have no power to ECU. ecu turn on everything from your fuel pump and the sparks. hope that help some

My 1995 toyota camry will not start just replaced battery and cables when I turn key nothing happens and nothing in the car will turn on except headlights

Hi and welcome to FixYa!
If that's the case then the problem can be on the starter itself. If you have replaced the battery but there's no click on the starter still then the problem can be on the starter solenoid or the starter gear is stuck.

I strongly suggest that you replace the starter for this can help start the vehicle. Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa!

Have a good one!

yes, starter/solenoid is the likely problem.

Please see my tip at http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6222268-engine_doesnt_crank_turn_over . These are generic instructions. If you get stuck or need specific instructions for your car, please get back to me with model, year and engine info.

I changed stereo and now the dashlights do not work

Check your park light fuse. You may have blown the fuse for the dashlights/park lights by accidentally grounding the night illumination wire, located in the radio wiring. That wire runs from the dash lights to the radio, to illuminate the radio at night. Alternately, if the park light fuse keeps blowing when you replace it, you might've hooked that night light wire up to the wrong wire on your radio.

Turn on your headlights and check to see if your taillights are working. They act as a fuse to your dashlights, its a safety thing
