I'm confused as to why you would want to do this? I can not fathom a logical reason for needing a heater in any radiator hose. If your have a freezing issue, have someone check your antifreeze. incorrect water to antifreeze ratio such as having too much water, or worse, only water in the cooling system will result in a frozen hose, especially the lower one, as it tends to be more exposed to the elements from under the vehicle.

turn your heater on to max heat and high fan. then see if you can feel the hoses on the firewall for heat they should be hot. make sure that the fan unit on the radiatoris working if the upper radiator hose is hot the fans should be running if they are not that means that either the relay is bad the thermo sensor is bad or the fan unit is shot... please rate the solution..........thanks

first, try sqeezing the hoses several times too get any air out of them. second, you may have put the thermostat in backwards, so it is not going to open and let the coolant flow thru.you could ruin your engine instead of your radiator. good luck

you should have hot water on all rad. hoses when the motor is running at a norm. temp. the water is not going through the heater core like it should. you have cutoff valve bad low water are a stopped heater.try a hoter thermostat if none of the above are true.

hello, check and see if it has a valve in the heater core hoses, also take heater core hoses off from motor, their should be two, put water hose on the end of hose run water through one hose, then swap to other hose, run water throuhg it also, you are flushing heater core out see if any trash comes out either hose, check water pump, and thermostat, make sure it is opening, you can buy a bad thermostat, i have before

Is there any pressure on the top radiator hose when the car has been running for awhile? If not the first thing I would do is replace the radiator cap. Make sure the radiator is full. Let the car run again to make sure you have pressure on the top hose. If you have pressure let the car run until you have equal amount of heat on both hoses. Make sure the fan works. If no pressure than you need to replace the thermostat.
