Did you test the spark and fuel? Or are you asking if it is fuel or spark realted?

You might also check the AM2 fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. There is a "noise supression" capacitor inside the distributor that shorted out on my '93 camry. You can replace the capacitor for about $10, but the capacitor is kind of hard to get at. I had to remove the distributor to get at it, but if you are a good mechanic, you can probably repair it in place.

With the AM2 fuse blown, I was getting crank, but no fire.

SOURCE: 1994 toyota camry wont't turn over. Got gas it cound be fuel filter or fuel filter fuse.

hi there, try changing out your starter, and see if that works, usually if it wont turn over that is the cause.....if that does not solve it, it could be a eletrical problem...the battery cables might be loose in there conection to the battery or there housing spot......hope this helps...if nothing works you'll need to take it to a shop.... shia

SOURCE: 1988 toyota camry 2.0 turns over but won't

Fuel pressure at idle is normally 30-35psi. Start by taking the gas cap off, and putting it back on. That will De-pressurize the fuel system. Also, make sure you have gas in the car. I have seen gauges on these cars read wrong. I hope this helps.

Why won"t my 94 toyota camry start. it turns over fine, and has fuel

any idea if the car is getting fire at the sparkplug? Need to know if you have any idea if the fuel injectors are receiving a ground reference from the ecm and if you know if you are getting fire.

1994 another Toyota Camry won't start.

Sounds like a timing chain , worst case, Would you say it's turning over almost too freely?? Look under your cap, and turn motor over, the rotor shouldn't turn if the timing chain is gone, but may turn if it jumped it's timing. Then you'll have to have a look under the timing cover . let me know if this helps

1994 camry won't start after cleaning under the hood check dist. cap replaced spark plugs sounds like its going to start then doesn't.

Sounds like wet or moist spark plug wires. If this also occurs during early morning high dew point humid air, then you may have spark plug wires shorting out.

Replace wires.

1994 toyota camry turns on for only a few seconds then won't start anymore until spark plugs dry from excessive gas. Timing, ECM,TPS, and injectors have been inspected and/or replacedc accordingly.

it could be that the fuel pressure regulator is faulty & needs replacing, if the fuel pressure is too high the engine may be getting too much fuel.....hope this helps.....cheers.

1994 toyota camry shuts off when driving

Does it start right back up? Or do you have to wait a while before it starts? If it fails to start back up, jump out and check what is missing, has to be spark or fuel. I'm betting on spark as the distributor is a common fail item.

1994 Camry won't start. Have replaced the fuel

Sounds like a relay or sensor. It could be the Crank Shaft Position Sensor which is usually the culprit.
Do you have any check engine lights on? If so, then I would have codes read right away to determine exact problem location

My 1994 Camry cranks but wont fully start

As you are finding out ....this is how you kill a car. You need fuel, spark, compression, and air to run an engine. Look for spark and fuel items to be working. A computer controls much of the spark part. They canbe sensitve electrically. If you are cranking ..starter sounds ok. Alt. will act up after you get started. concentrate on spark and spark control. Fuel and fuel control. This is what you need to start.
