It will be under the car in between the motor and the radiator on the drivers side right where the motor bolts up to the transmission. If you look down through the front exhaust manifold you should see it.

It sounds like it could be a bad fuel pump or circuit to the fuel pump.

the solinoid is on top of starter. the starter is in front of engine, from underneath you can see the starter. maybe the shield has to come off if you have one on that car. but it is in front on bottom on the 3.1,

jack up car, remove splash sheild, if equipped. disconnect the wires from starter motor,remove starter mounting bolts. installation is reverse of removal. TOOLMAN,

Discunnect the battery, disconnet the wires from the starter, remove the bolts holding it into place. If there are any shims, make a note of where they go.

take out the oil pan bolts and take it out might have to undue motor mounts and jack up engine to get pan out.

disconnect negative battery terminal, raise vehicle,remove splash sheild, if equipped. take wires off of solenoid on starter, remove starter mounting bolts, remember not to mix up wires!! --to install--put starter back in vehicle put in bolts,hook up wires, then replace cable back on battery.

all you need is a ratchet and socket that will fit the bolts and you should be good to go

first remove negative cable from battery, jack up car and remove all the wires on starter. take out the bolts that hold it in, pull starter out!! do not mix up wires,
