My 1999 oldsmobile aurora ac has been recharged an the ac clutch kicks in but still hot air

Several- The system should hold freon for years without leaking. There are pressure switches and they cut off the compressor with an undercharge and an overcharge. You need guages to measure the charge. There are testers the A/C shops have called "sniffers" which can detect a leak. If you have no leak then you need a technician to add or remove freon to get the concentration right. Or you need guages.

Check the evaporator coil by sniffing the vents,floor is best, with your tester.

If you have the hood up stand outside while someone activates your air off and on and see if the clutch on the compressor goes on and off while they activate the switch. If that isn't it the it could be improperly charged system or your climate control door that opens and closes for hot or air is not working properly and only stays on heat.

check freon if it is full charge ,check auxiliary fan , if this two condition is good ,you need to replace expansion valve and filter drier
