Engine and transmission are completely sealed off from one another. No way changing the engine oil will affect the transmission unless a brain sturgeon put engine oil into the transmission by mistake. If you did the service, you know that didn't happen.

2002 bmw x5 trans failsafe program message after oil change

First check transmission dip stick for correct fluid level. Next schedule a transmission filter change. This should have been done at 60,000miles

2004 caddy cts timming belt broke and bent valves after repair it has lifter noise

You may have to check that the head gasket /s were properly positioned as the oil hole to the head/s may be blocked and not allowing oil to the lifters . If this is the case then on removing the cam shaft you may not be able to pass a small wire any further than the head thickness.

My 2003 cadillac cts automatic transmission will not change gears pulls off slowly but will reach high speed

please do not have your transmission flushed , have someone take the oil pan off and replace the filter as well and what ever trans oil you take out replace it as well . no automotive repair shop will warrenty your trans if it should suddenly stop working , but just for your satisfaction ask the transmission repair shop who flushs trans if they guarantee it and have them put it in writing . ive never understood why flush dirty oil and leave the dirty filter in the trans , it collected all dirt and metal wear which is what is causing it to plug up causing it to restrict the oil flow

Ok, I have an 03 cadillac cts, and out of nowhere my car started shifting hard (up n down) so I stopped driving the car to look under the hood, I thought I had a trans fluid leak or something... Didn't...

Have you checked the transmission fluid level. Hard changing or slipping can be caused by low fluid level. If it is not this, then you will need to take it to a transmission specialist to have them diagnose it.

Tranny slipping when ever I try to go over 40 mph

If you didn't already...you should change tranny oil and filter. This would be a good place to start even if it does not correct the problem. But...before changing tranny oil and filter...with engine running does your tranny dipstick show that tranny has a sufficient amount of oil? If not ...fill to proper level with engine still running and see if that corrects your problem.

2003 Neon SXT Tranny Oil In Radiator

I'm not possitive but there is usually a vent tube on top of the transmission, may be possible that dirt or something is clogging it up. That would cause the tranny to build up pressure. But to blow the seal on a new radiator, I wouldn't imagine that. My opinion would be that the new radiator wasn't put together correctly. But just in case the vent tube did cause it to let go, check the vent. I hope that you find the problem. Best wishes.
