SOURCE: Suzuki Grand Vitara Losing power

There are a lot of possiblities. Mass air flow sensor, o2 sensor. So this was hooked up to an OBD2 scanner and no codes came up? A good mechanic should be able to diagnose this problem in person. It is very hard to do over the internet but I will do my best to give you the most probable culprits. If you have a moment to accept and rate my solution on the original problem it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lee

SOURCE: engine management light on ,suzuki grand vitara 2

Take the car to an autoparts store and have them scan the computer for any fault codes stored. The check engine light is to alert you that the computer has noted a fault in one of the car's systems. Getting the codes will show what the computer has noted and curb the need for speculation. Most parts stores will perform the scan for free. Hope this helped and best wishes.

if it drives good, why not just ignore it ,till spring
(usa answer) its 85F here.

its the gas tank venting system.
or
learn to use a real scan tool
then post the DTC errors or savvy persons can wax smarter

in bad weather evap systems are in fact noted for there malfuctionig or flat out lies.
try to imagine when the fuel tank, goes from hot to cold
the gas cap ,vacuumbreaker opens and sucks in fresh moisture laden air, and then that vapor, freezes.
no power on earth can stop that. (key off)
wait till spring and stop worry.
or post errors.
we can work single word fails ever,"evap"

no starts
open gas cap
whisssssssss
put back cap
and start car
run now.?

if not scan it while cranking, omg dTC errors. try not to guess
read the errors, lots can fail cold.
does engine start using spray test fuel method?
if yes, its fueling issue
cap is first. on tank filler, those too can freeze and fail, all by thereselves..(vacuum breaker faILURE)

My suzuki grand vitara ddis diesel 2008 lost power and a zigzag light appeared but the next day it was ok the garage did not find any fault codes

tool late now.
you'd need to drive with scan tool attached then see what code
set (DTC) at failure.
can be lots of things.
bad fuel, partial clogged filter.
injector clogs. and other sensors errors.
and others, this is common rail injection system, right?
get a scan tool, and have it always ready. for fails.

My 2007 grand vitara consumes a lot in just in one day

My first guess would be that the fuel level sending unit inside the fuel tank is defective and you are getting a false reading on the garage.

The replace of the fuel cap on the gas tank did

The next thing for you to try is the vent tube coming out of the gas tank fill spout, also get the codes read because many other things can put the light on and reading the codes will point you closer to your problem.

Suzuki Vitara V6, MAF sensor, white smoke.

Hi:
My first thoughts are that you have a head gasket or intake manifold gasket failure. This is why you have the white smoke. If you run it too long, your catalytic converter will be destroyed. Check for coolant in your oil too.

Suzuki grand vitara 2000 model the engine light blinks

Take your rig.. drive it to a gas station.. fill the tank up with gas.. also fill 2 jugs of gasoline at the same time... put the jugs in the back of it.. now drive as far as you can until the rig runs out of gas.. then, take the two jugs of gas.. pour it all over the rig, inside and out.. now light it a-blaze, then walk to your nearest car dealer and buy a new car..
