2003 Acura TL/s: Just changed the engine air filter. Now a hum sound in that area. I was aware of the airflow when I made this simple exchange, but I'll check anyway. Other ideas? Thanks.

I was recently changed the cabin filter on my TL 04, i don't think it necessary, it is more like optional but if you change filter for your engine, why not change the air you breathe inside the car. After i change my cabin filter i noticed more air are been circulate through out and also fresher than before. the price for a cabin fiter is also relatively cheap less than $10. took me 15 mins to do it. check it out at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQsDxqxyeqM

A is oil change
1 is tire rotation
2 is engine and cabin air filter replacement
3 is trans fluid replacment

B is oil and filter change with brake inspection and clean, lube , adjust
1 would be tire rotation
2 is replace engine and cabin air filters
3 is replace transmission fluid

check that the air filter is seated correcty in it housing, check for leaks or cracks on ducting fasteners and clamps

Try changing the fuel filter.

this code make reference to low idle engine,maybe the throttle body is dirty , air filter clogged, vacumm leak , pcv valve clogged, check for thoses

To change cabin air filter on Acura TL firs time you need to open the glove box and then remove the arm that holds the glovebox. Press the 2 sides of the glovebox to take this out like in picture bellow.

After do this you can see and locate the cabin air filter housing cover.

Push the 2 tabs from the filter frame to unhooking from the housing cover. Take the frame out and replace the old cabin air filter with the new one with the air flow indicating arrow pointing down.

The screws pop up when you loosen them. You just have to use a flat head screw driver and they will pop out completely
