If you are sure every thing is working the way it should you can try something I do for gas cap loose. light after I put a new cap on.. I remove the negative cable off of the battery for one to two hours and let the computer reset itself. It seems to be working but I have to reprogram my radio after but I have no problem with that.
Make sure your fluid is up and you have no leaks.

Low coolant light, low oil and check engine light

Most likely it is the sensor, it is located on the radiator near the battery, it will stay off if you unplug it, Check the fuses and relays though just to make sure, oil pressure sensor possibly but again check fuses

1998 chevy monte carlo check egine light wont go out evevn after computer download

if the light stays on, this means the computer has detected a "hard" fault. This means that the fault is present and is detected during the computers power up self test. You need to follow the diagnostic procedures pertinent to the faults given. the light will stay on as long as the fault remains. Simply downloading the fault codes will not put the light out.
