94 merc villager no start, starter check good, battery good, fuse's check good, wondering if key switch or ign switch.

Could be, but there are other things involved in the starting circuit that could be the problem . The park neutral safety switch ,start inhibit relay, open in the circuit some where ! You need a wiring diagram of the starting circuit , a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter an do some testing of the electrical circuit . Go to you tube an check out some videos on basic automotive electrical trouble shooting , how to read a wiring diagram , how to do voltage drop testing . Then go here http://bbbind.com/free_tsb.html for free wiring diagrams .

Does the neg. battery cable hook to the starter on a 1996 mercury villager? or some where else?

Yes the neg cable is grounded at the starter bolts and also at the frame.
Do you have power coming from the starter relay down to the starter solenoid with the key switch in the start position ?
Do you have headlights when you try to crank the engine ?
Have you tried cranking it in neutral ?

1995 mercury villager will not start i turn the key and all the lights come on but no click no nothing.... my husband could get it to start by jumping the starter so he replaced the starter nothing he then...

mcdevito75 her, My immediate thought is a dead or weak battery, but it could be a bad starter also, here"s what to do, inside the car turn the key 1 notch to the on position, note the dash lights, now turn the key to start and note the dash lights again, do they go dim?? if they do you most likely have a weak battery, if the dash lights do not dim, open the door so the interior light comes on, any interior light, try to start the car, if the interoir light dims, you have a weak battery, if it does not dim with the key all the way to start, check and clean the battery connections, and suspect a bad starter. Any electrical appliance can go bad very quickly. Also if the battery is2 years old, replace it.

Have a 1995 Mercury Villager that wont start have replaced the starter, battery, cables, switch, what else can it be please help.

I assume it won't crank. Are you getting power to the small terminal to the starter when someone turns the key? Can you jump power to it and get it to crank? It could be a bad neutral safety switch.

Cant find fender, or firewall mounted starting solenoid

Follow the thick wire from the starter's solenoid, back to the battery, if there is a unit with 2 connections (inline with the wire) then thats the second solenoid.
