Usually the pump in my experince. Take it somewhere where you can have thhe engine cleaned. Then take it to a shop and have them ID what is wrong. or put it up on jack stands and lay under it with a flashlight and figure out where the leak is coming from

SOURCE: Power Steering Leak. 1986 Toyota Cressida

The power steering system is very simple check all of these and you will find it. the pump has a high pressure line and a low/ return line. check for leaks in the line fill-up with fluid with some ne inside turning steering when looking for leaks if none in line check rack and pinnion/gear box. Its just (4) components to check Pump, reservoir, Lines(pressureline/ return line) rack and pinion. Good Luck

Water seems to leak slowly from radiator, but cant find the leak.

That engine can develop a leak between the intake manifold and one or both cylinder heads. It is hard to spot, and the water dribbles out onto the transmission, where it is dissipated by the air flow.

Another possibility is the water pump shaft seal leaking, in a car this age, accessed after removing the timing belt.

Power Steering fluid leaking 1997 Toyota Camry Leaks all the time Put more fluid in.

Bad lines or bad pump. if it's not a bad leak, try some stop leak additive and add fluid when needed. If it's bad, you need to replace what's leaking before your spend the repair cost in powersteering fluid. lines are relatively cheap and i would replace them before you run out of fluid and burn the pump up.

My brake pedal is on the floor and the brake fluid continuously goes low. It seems like the vacuum pressure never builds to keep the pedal off of the floor. Any ideas?

You will need to carefully inspect the entire brake system for leaks. Inspect the front calipers, rear wheel cylinders, all the hoses, the back of the master cylinder, and steel lines. If something looks wet or drips brake fluid it is leaking. If you haven't seen any brake fluid dripping from under the car my first thought is that the rear wheel cylinders are leaking.

If the pedal went to the floor and you didn't have to add fluid than you would more than likely have a bad master cylinder but since you are adding fluid there is a leak somewhere.

Poer steering fluid is leaking. Fan runs slow

Check power steering rack. on the camarys its alittle more common than most cars. poke a hole in the boot and watch for a leak. Nothggn should come out of there. If you have fluid coming from the boots then your internal seals are leaking on the rack. a small hole will not hurt the rack if nothing comes out.

Also check your power steering pump shaft. sometimes the seal will leak
.
I think your over heating problem may be a different problem all together.

Hopefull that helps.

1992 toyota camry tight steering

yes , i am sure you checked for leaks on the rack at the boots on both ends near the wheels. if none try adding a power steering conditioner to the pump . drain the fliud from the reservoir first by taking off one of the hoses the more conditioner the better. this may not work but it is an easy and cheap way first. there is also a relief valve in many pumps that might be stuck not allowing pressure to build.
