Ok, but does the compressor shaft stall, at each A;/C drop out.
that is 1st. check on all A/C cars.
that is the clutch there, if the clutch drops out
that means the logic , sees ERRORS>
we can work that issue easy but i need the shaft answer.
do not confuse, spinning pulley with shaft.
first makes sure the belt is tight. then see if it drops out.

you'll have to pull off the interior panel. window in the up position. on the lock cylinder there is a clip that you have to pull off and an arm that actuates the lock. pop the lock out. reverse to install.

I've got a 1993, it's located in the right rear quadrant of the engine compartment, next to the firewall about half way down.

starters are actually pretty easy. usually just 2 or 3 bolts holding it on. Just disconnect the battery first. Remove the bolts and the starter and then installation is reversal of removal.
