Does anyone know where to find, or have a electrical manual for a S82 Daihatsu HiJet? And I mean S82. Not s100-S140!

Google has diagrams and links to Service Manuals. Or you could take a month subscription to AllData.com. What you are trying is not an easy job.

I have a rare 01 2wd pathfinder I need to know which of the three wires is hot on the headlight harness

Here is a little detective work for you!
First, identify the color of the ground wires, and that should be the same color for nearly all of the electrical things under the hood, but pay particular attention to things like lights.
There will be one wire of that color to every light.
Next you will likely have two wires, one for high beam, one for low beam, and those can be matched. Highs one color, lows another.
None of these wires should be hot with the headlights switched off, except that, during the 2001 automobile era, some cars and trucks had driving lights that were on whenever the car was moving!
God bless your efforts.

Diagram pressure switch

Is the part the correct one? Whatever the part is!

You ALWAYS take your old parts to the store
to match them up,unless you buy on the internet

Because the wires are a different color, doesn't mean
the connector isn't correct & the part is not the correct one

Is the question only about wire color & not fit & form?

Parts do not always match the vehicle harness color

Feel I'm only telling you what you already know or can see
& figure out

1994 Lexus LS 400 One headlight is ineffectual dim with yellowish color, replaced bulb, replaced end plug, no effect, what now, please?

The first thing you need to do is check both fuses for the right headlamp. There will be one for the high beam and the low beam. If the fuses are good than we need to check the ground. The ground wire is the red wire with the white tracer. Whith the headlights on use a jumper wire from that wire to the battery ground. If the headlight is know bright than you will need to start tearing into the harness to find out where the wire is bad and/or corroded. It will be somewhere in between the connector and where the wire splices into the ground for the left headlight. Since the left headlight works fine we know that the wiring from that splice to ground is good. Let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them. 2002 silverado headlights stopped working

you can take note what color wires go to the headlamps then pull out the harness from the headlamp switch to check continuity. If the wiring is all good the headlamp switch is at fault & needs to be replaced
