How do you remove beeper on revers gear on sirion?

Reverse gear audible warning beeper is only heard inside the car. This is so annoying and I was wondering where it can be disconected?

SOURCE: My car will not go into reverse

probably your shifter assembly and the interlocks. either needs to be adjusted or replaced. had a similar issue with mine lately, replaced at a cost of ~ $250

trasmission wont go in reverse

SOURCE: the check gear box light is on, car does not shift into revers

Hi,It might be worth giving your autobox a ((complete)) newATF fluid transplant approx 7ltrs ,but to be honest it sounds like you have major gearbox failure (valve block seals/springs/valves,etc)not a cost effective repair,cheaper to replace with another autobox.

SOURCE: 1993 FORD CROWN VICTORIA has no reverse gear when engine warm.

No band for reverse,sounds like you have a trans. in need of repair.

you have a 6 speed gearbox and you are missing reverse,push DOWN on the stick.check your manual PLEASE..........

Can't figure out how to turn off the Park Assist beeper on my 2005 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer. It drives us nuts when we are trying to back up with our camper in tow.

Parking Aid Navigator The parking aid system consists of the following:

one radar sensor (located in the center of the rear bumper)
two ultrasonic parking aid sensors (located on the left and right side of the rear bumper)
parking aid module (located behind the LH C-pillar trim panel)
parking aid speaker-audible warning tone (located in the parking aid module)

Expedition The parking aid system consists of the following:

four ultrasonic parking aid sensors (located in the rear bumper)
parking aid module (located behind the LH C-pillar trim panel)
parking aid speaker-audible warning tone (located on the parking aid module)
reverse gear select input (to the parking aid module from the reverse lamp circuit)
The parking aid system is enabled when the ignition switch is in the RUN position and REVERSE is selected. The system can be disabled through the message center RESET switch located in the instrument cluster. The parking aid menu is displayed until the transmission is taken out of REVERSE. While the menu is displayed, pressing the message center RESET switch changes the parking aid system status to OFF.

Volvo 440 96 manual no reverse gear motion but 1 to 5 gears going ok engine not switched on into reverse with reversing light on back start car no revers is this clutch problem or worse thks

It's inside the transmission. The shift yoke probably has worn so much that it no longer moves the gear inside.

When I put my car on revers back up sensor bips, for no reason, does it needs to be replace and how you replace it?

Its MENT to beep when you reverse as son as you get close to anything the beeper goes faster then to a constant tone

On 3 occasions have had 3 loud audible warning beeps, but no warning lights come on, when stationary at traffic lights, with neutral gear and handbrake on.

Sound like a brake on warning so you don't put in gear and drive with the break on however a brake light should come on but it maybe Burt out

No reverse no egine codes

valvebody or soleniod not aplying revers band in trans 1st gear is the same clutch pac as revers only diferenc is in revers a holding band is aplied causing revers rotation
