I have a 1990 vette 65,000 miles runs great but after driving 15-20 min i shut it off it won't start have to wait or spray it with starting fliud to get it fire up.
Is it fuel injected? you might have a faulty sensor it sounds like a vapor lock, also you fuel injectors might be dirty or bad also check fuel pump pressure or a cloged fuel filter, or it is putting to much gas if your vette has a carb.

Combination of brake and battery light mean the alternator is not charging. after you wait for a wile the battery recover some power and will run again but as soon the power drop below 9V the engine die. Test the charging system and replace the alternator
Good Luck
The 20 min time out is the GEM or Body Module, which is normal only because you have a bad switch, otherwise it goes to sleep when either front door opens
Put radio on & open a door, the radio should go off & kill the time delay if no issues exist
i have a 1990 vette doing the exact same thing. i have checked; fuel pressure, replaced fuel filter, checked spark, checked engine vacuum and i still cant seem to get the car to run once it's up to temp. any help on this would be great.
well, something is blocking your fuel line, try replacing the fuel filter and clean the fuel pump, rust might be blocking it. if you have time try draining your fuel tank too then get rid of the rusts. this will surely help
I had the same problem. Turns out,( and I didn't believe it when I was told) but, my problem turned out to be cheap (inferiour) plugs and wired. I was reccomended to use NKG plugs and Borg-Warner wires.
sounds like your fuel pump is going out. One thought might be that the fuel filter is causing enough resistance to over heat the pump. I would check the fule pressure to determine a free flow of fuel.
