Abs warning light is on

ABS means your brakes may not stop your car properly at high speeds and make the car wiggle and swerve.
I don't know what the code means but if I was you I have the brakes checked.

you have a memory code thats why lite is still on..why is your airbag lite on?it needs to be scanned to see whats wrong and to clear codes

EPS is Electronic Power Steering.

When the light comes on, it is a warning that the Electronic Power Steering system is having a problem.

The increased force you have to use, is because the EPS is not assisting you as much as it was before, if at all.

Hi, The 2007 Hyundai Accent is under a recall for the brake light switch since it has a tendency to fail. The brake light switch is high up on the brake pedal and it has a plunger on it. The plunger releases when you step on the brake pedal and retracts when you release the pedal. I think your problem has sorted itself. No need to go to garage.

If the ABS wheel speed sensor was defective and you replaced it, the ABS light will automatically turn off once the vehicle is driven. If the ABS light stays on, you still have another problem in the system.
If the light remains on, have the codes read and reply back with the codes and we can start diagnosing.

Replace the HECU (ABS Hydraulic module).

Usualy the check engine light reports a malfuction in your engine performance system, it coulb be a misfire, bad sensors, vaccum leak, you need to have your engine code read from a garage or an auto parts store that offers the service for free.

the abs light comes on whenever the system detects a fault , when that fault no-longer is there the light will turn off , you should have a code set in your cars computers history . a competant mechanic should be able to get those codes for you to determine where to start diagnosing your abs Light issue .
