Dash light fuse is there one

Schematic will tell you or perhaps the car manual.

Replace the dash light bulb, sometimes filament is broken, but bulb works the same.

If bulb is ok , then is a bad wiring.

Interesting same thing here, radio and a/c controls, the cabinet ambiant and the pocket lights on the doors but not the cabin, or dash, or information panel. Have you gotten yours fixed yet, I have check the connectors, pulled the fuse, nothinig found an odd thing drove it through dusk when the auto lights came on and wala there it was for 4 days and gone again.

if the otjer dash lights work then it is a bulb gone out. if none of the dash lights work you have a bad fuse or possibly a bad dimmer wheel. to replace the bulb you will need to remove the plastic shroud from around the shifter.

There should be a fuse under the dash for the instrument cluster...you may need to refer to the owner manual to get the printout of the fuse block

Did you check the fuses?

it sounds like the mech is probably correct..i"ve had to change many a bulb in my dash over the years...293K

check for blown fuse(s). Seems like you tapped into the backup light circuit.
