I have a 1999 Chevrolet Blazer 4.3 and it has recently been running like ****. When it shifts out of 1st gear it revs up to 2000 and acts like it losses power, hits 2500-2700 and "comes to life"! I want to think that this is a tranny problem. Ive had a tune up done recently(plugs, wires, cap, rotor) and a new fuel pump and filter 5000 miles ago. I also had the cat converter gutted a few weeks ago adn seemed to run problemless after that, but now it has been going back to how it ran before that, any ideas?
