I was listening to the radio in my 2005 hundai elantra and out of nowhere it just shut off and didnt turn back on. I checked all the fuses and they are all good. I am assuming that the direct fuse in the back of the stereo is blown. The problem is that i dont know how to take the dash appart.

it could be a fuse,, check in the fuse box under the hood for one that says Start or ignition, if you have zero power to the car, No lights, radio, nothin, check the battery posts , clean them and tighten them up, if they were to bad then the alternator couldn't recharge you battery , try jump starting it but let the powered vehicle run for a while with the cables attached to your car to assist in charging your battery ,, then try and start the vehicle
there is a relay in the engine compartment relay fuse box should be labeled pull it out look at the relay and jump the same wire the number 30 and 87 on the relay then try and start car. if it don't work check for power there if no power move to the fuse in same compartment.if there is power the installation could be wrong. make sure the ground is properly connected to the frame/body/sending unit.
Many (= not all) fuse boxes have a chart molded into the case and the fuses can nearly always inspected visually to see if the fuse element is intact.
The one that services those items is probably marked as 'accessories.'
Certainly not good to drive with airbag off, but it may just be a burned out fuse so check your fuse panel(s) for a bad fuse, which will cause light to come on.
