SOURCE: How to remove center console or where to get the diagram? Thanks Tony

In my 2004 Sierra the console is held in by the seat bolts. You will need a star 16 and 20 to get the seats out. There are 2 bolts that go into the dashboard also. There is a big electrical connection under the console that needs to be unplugged to get it out.

SOURCE: How to Remove Center Console on 1975 GMC Midas RV

If the van has a cup holder on the doghouse you should not have to remove it to get doghouse out. There are 2 latches on the sides of the dog house, one on driver side and one on passenger side about halfway between the floor and the dash, un hook these. Pull the carpet back from around the bottom of the dog house, there will be 2 clips held down with bolts, remove these. The doghouse should slide back, and out from under the dash, it might be necessary to remove the passenger seat to get the house out of the vehicle.

Testimonial: "Dude you rock.Thank You for the info on the lower clips. Thanks again. You saved me a trip to the repair shop. Thank You"
