The driver side window switch stopped working. All other parts of the console work normally. Have tried to replace the switch module, but three different units all have not worked and make a clicking sound once installed. Is there a programming element needed, or is there a short somewhere else in the electrical?
Volvo v70 Don't worry I'm sure you will get the solution of your problem, just check the link I attached
They have all wiring, schematic, and electrical diagrams, instant download.
SOURCE: faulty flasher unit
The flasher button is the relay. Push the two long strips at the side of the radio. They are on the faceplate, they look like two long rectangles. Push them in until they click. Then pull them out like handles. You can then reach in the recess and feel the flasher switch just to the bottom of the hole the radio sits in. The flasher switch itself is about six inches long. Push the back of the switch and it will pop out through the front panel. It does require a good amount of force so cover your wrist/arm with a rag to keep your arm from getting cut up on the hard plastic.
Hope this helps
