1998 Volvo V70 GLT - Drivers side electric window will not go up. it was partially lowered and then would not go up. Someone hit the lower switch and it went all of the way down. A. How can I get it all the way back up? B. Is there an electrical problem with these windows? Had similar problem with passenger window, got a service to get it back up. Six months later it works fine and now there is a problem with the drivers side.

Try pressing down till connects with window bracket, then try up & down. Good luck, Actuall sounds like you need to clenn the window motor plug-in's with some wd/40 next This is located in the driver side door pannel.good luck to ya. .

Hatch back will not open
With key in hand,hit power door lock switch to lock. Raise release handle & lower. Hit power door lock unlock raise & lower handle. May take a couple times is stuck in limbo between lock & unlock mode.

I cannot determine the chassis number of my 1998 volvo v70 glt wagon vehicle. How do i find out what it is?
1 try looking in the bottom of the windshield near the wipers there could be a small window window with your chassis number in it.
2 if not it is common on Volvo to be in the engine compartment on top or on the inside of the left wing possible near the battery if fitted up front.

How do I remove fuel lines from pump? V70 GLT 1998 There is supposed to be a quick release, but i haven't found it yet.
push union forward onto pipe stub now push in end of union keep pushed in now slide pipe back off pump hope this helps

98 Volvo V70 GLT - Oil Pump or Valve Job?
Most common cause of ticking in these is the oil pick-up seals. Remove the pan and replace the oil pick-up tube seal, the two seals for the tube in the pan and the 2 O-rings on the right side of the pan. And dont use silicone to seal the pan back up, because it WILL leak, I highly recommend the Volvo sealant

3.2.4L Turbo
