Dvd player doesnt work on my 05 odyssey and all you told me is where the fuse box is

sorry but look at fuses first. your vehicle could have 2 fuse boxes, one under hood and one under dash. sorry i do not know off hand. but start with fuses

stock car? if stock the fuses are in the fuse box.
at left ankle , up. (marked RADIO)
not stock , cars can be anything, not stock is infinitely wired.
if not stock only hands on man can fix it. for obvious reasons.

DVD player. ? its not a stock integrated system.
DVD what , mP3? tells me if true, its aftermarket, if so ]
do post the makers name and deck, part number.

If your DVD player is acting up, a reset might solve the issue. Disconnect the battery and pull out fuse number five from the inside fuse compartment in the driver's foot area.
Let the fuse breathe for at least twenty minutes and the battery for a few hours and then put it back.

you could take the DVD system down and check for power to the back of the player. if there is power then you will need a new player. if no power then check the wires/connections.

pulled the fuse and left it out for over an hour. The system reset itself when turn back on.

I had th esame problem. Honda forgot to install the 7.5 amp fuse for the video. I bought a fuse,put it in and its been working since.

I believe this should be undet the hood, inside the secondary under-hood fuse box (the smaller of the two, located on the driver's side).

If I am not mistaken, you are looking for fuse position #5, which is marked as "Premium" and it is rated for 20 Amps.

its a possibility you blew your speakers
