I have a 1994 oldsmobile 88. I park my car front side up on driveway. I dont know why this would make a differance but this is when car really acts up. I try to start and it starts but immedietly losses power as if there is no gas and there is also a strong gasoline smell. I finally keep it runnning and once i take off when i accelerate if dies. But turns right back on. I have changed the fuel pump relay, the fuel pump and filter. Could the fuel pressure regulator be the problem? Also the engine light is NOT on. Please help!!!

Check you exhaust. you may have a damaged cat or a broken baffle in the exhaust eather of these will stall the engine and you will have a strong smell of fuel.

SOURCE: my car is a 93

My car is acting the same way! I've changed plugs and wires, checked ignition systems and all good!! Recently removed the bad catylic converter and just straight piped it! But still I think it could be oxgen sensor or a vacuum leak somewhere!!! That's bout all I can think of before getting the timing checked

1992 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royale. On a diesel Delta 88 Royale what brake system comes on it please?

Question edited for clarity, spelling and typos.
Question moved to model category.

On a car that old it is the classic system, a pedal, a brake booster servo operated by vacuum with disc brakes on the front wheels and drum brakes on the rear wheels.

A hard pedal signifies a problem with the booster or a leak in the vacuum line.

Brakes acting like they are 'not releasing' is easy to check. Take the car for a run, to free them up. Put car into park, chock front wheels, jack up the rear and try and spin the wheels by hand. The should turn freely. Lower the back, chock the back wheels, put vehicle in neutral, jack up the front wheels and try and turn the front wheels by hand. They will be a little harder as you are also moving some gearbox parts.

Drum brakes can stick if the return springs break. Disc Brakes stick if incorrectly shimmed or the slider pins are seized with rust. They allow the caliper to float on either side of the disc rotor.

1997 oldsmobile 88 Cuts off while driving at any given time but starts right back up.

You need to have the GM dealer perform a scan of the systems memory, it will have a fault code that will lead the tech to the cause of this stalling which may be the CKP sensor.

90 olds royale 88 - where are the relays/fuses? I found them under steering wheel but no headlights fuse...

I dont really see your question as posted.

However, if your headlights are not lighting, you probably need to replace the headlights...

Although power to other outside lights, running, parking, etc...
Would be the listed under EXTERIOR LIGHTS
